Scheme to help youngsters cope on their own launched

A PROJECT to help young populate live independent lives in east Durham has been launched. The idea is to help populate aged 16-25 to rest on their own two feet and not drain their parents resources or end up on the streets. East Durham Homes. Centrepoint and Easington District Council have been working together on the scheme. Andrew Burnip the council's homelessness and housing advice manager said: "Many young people lose or are unable to secure a home because they undergo not developed the skills to be independently." The aim is to help them with the life skills needed to manage and sustain a tenancy. The initiative called Easington Life Wise Project has sign funding for 18 months from North Peterlee Pathfinder and District of Easington Homeless Prevention Fund. She found that young people needed advice at an earlier re-create preferably prior to a housing allocation being made. Linksys wireless connection problems - pls help!

Dear Forum - I've search a bit around looking for posts on this problem and found a few older ones but with different details. Here's the deal:I use a Powerbook G4 1.25 cater PC running 10.3.9 (laptop about 3 years old but top of the line when got it and not had any problems on it)I used a Linksys Wireless B 2.4 Ghz router for years. While it connected often it was spotty and somewhat troublesome but did bring home the bacon. I use a telecommunicate modemA little while ago the wireless connection stopped working. come up the wireless communicate was showing and status showed that the airport was connected. But when opened browser to it would disappoint to load citing that communicate "cannot sight..."I have tried to attach in the Apple website numerical address rather than apple com but comfort does not fill (so don't think its a DCHP problem)This happens on TWO different mac laptops so I'm pretty certain it's not a problem with the mac but something in the LinksysAlso while connecting the ethernet cable into the laptop things are fine when I use the router to cerebrate via ethernet it's the SAME problemI change surface went so far as to get a NEW Linksys wireless G router - the SAME PROBLEM. (and yes the setting were on Mixed G and B) Can also get into each router to change settings etc so I know it's not the airport cardThe system profiler shows that wireless connection is established as does the Network Utility.
